Farther upstream, you'll see how this year's rainfall has made a rushing river. Enjoy it while you can -- most of the year the riverbed is dry although its banks continue to support trees and other greenery. A pleasant walk about twenty minutes from the city center or you can take a Cerro del Cuarto or Cerro de Leones bus.
