The Lambert (Guanajuatense) Tarot Deck & Paintings
I am having what I hope is a temporary technical problem in transferring photos to Mexiguana so I'll refer you directly to www.lamberttarot.com, the website where you can read about this ambitious project, see photos, and learn about the dual nature of each Tarot character. The Museo del Pueblo will keep exhibiting the large monochromatic portraits the artists painted so they could create the set of cards. You're likely to see faces of people you've passed on the street as a real Guanajuatense (adoptive or otherwise) sat for each of the Lamberts' tarot characters. Next stop for the show, Queretaro. Rinal date for the exhibit in Guanajuato, January 23.
